During the IAA, the expectation was that the center of attention stayed focused on the new Evoque model manufactured by Range Rover automaker, but with the absence of all the spotlights were on Jaguar F-Pace, which pleased almost everyone who attended the event. After the delay, were finally revealed some details of the convertible model, which in addition to all the equipment that the Evoque features, comes with a technological and charming retractable roof with different functions, which can make the car the favorite for SUV models lovers.
The opening of the hood is made in just 18 seconds, and can be driven with the car in motion, and the speed is limited to 48 km / h, to close the process is somewhat slower, taking about 21 seconds to complete the process, the convertible model already has a waiting list to purchase, initially it will be marketed in Europe in the second half of 2016, later to reach the US market.
The car will be sold with three engine configurations, two models that can generate 2.0 liters 150 and 170 horsepower respectively, a model with the most sporting engine, which is used in some models today that is able to generate approximately 240 horsepower. All versions have full all-wheel drive and comes equipped with 9 automated exchange rates.
Another change noted in the model is the size of the trunk, now with the size of 251 liters at the speed we didn?t notice much difference, and the simplest gasoline model can reach the milestone of 100 km / h in just 8,9 seconds and all models have a top speed limited to 209 km / h.
