Porsche produces the last supercar 918 Spyder.

Porsche announced on Friday (19) the construction of the latest issue of the 918 Spyder supercar in its Zuffenhausen plant (Germany). The unit that marks the model farewell leaves the production line 21 months after manufacturing the first.

The 918 Spyder is considered a milestone in the history of Porsche. The supercar is powered by two electric motors working together with a block of 4.6-liter V8, has the all structure made of carbon fiber, has variable aerodynamics, and other advanced technologies. All of this makes the 918 Spyder the most sophisticated production model ever developed by Porsche.


This car was an unique machine. Available in a total of 887 horsepower through a combination of a 4.6-liter V-8 and two electric motors. Porsche quotes 0-60 time at 2.5 seconds.

The production of the 918 will be closed and remember that the model is limited to 918 units. But the Porsche ensured that will leave a legacy for other models that are yet to come.
