Will we have a new King?
Until then the production of the fastest car with acceleration from 0 to 300 km/h in the world was Koenigsegg Agera R, which reached the mark with an incredible time of 21s19 in 2011. Since then, several other brands and models tried to debunk this record without success, but now it seems the throne has a new king.
Equipped with five-cylinder V8 and two turbines this toy can achieve the super speed of 440 km / h’s. Its main competitors are McLaren P1, LaFerrari and Porsche 918 Spyder.
The Koenigsegg One: 1, during training at the Swedish factory test track, managed to reach a mark of 17s95, 3s24 faster than Agera R, as telemetry information recorded by a VBOX, with results that can be conferred on video below.
The record is not official, because the model used in the test was a prototype and had to be equipped with more than 50kg of pipe protection installation.
